Practice to raise your energy level and your capacity for love and joy

Today I want to share with you a wonderful FREE   Seasonal Qigong Series b y Robert Peng.  I've been practicing the seasonal meditations now for 6 month and I absolutely love it.  Robert has a wonderful detailed explanation on his website and he also provides the free videos of his practice . He offers it for free because according to him " My Qigong Master, Xiao Yao, felt that  Seasonal Qigong  was an extremely valuable practice, and throughout the years I spent with him, we practiced regularly. So you may be wondering, "Why give away something that is so precious for free?" The answer is simple. Since  Seasonal Qigong  is time sensitive, it is practiced by many people at the same time. And a basic rule of Qigong is that the greater the number of people aligning their energies simultaneously, the more robust the Qi field becomes." This month, he is talking about " Major Heat Empowerment ". He says " The time of the seasonal...

Tackling the question of how healing works

Today I would like to share this very interesting and thought provoking article by Diane Goldner What is  energy?   That question haunted me, back when I was an investigative journalist tackling the question of how healing works. I was constantly asking what subtle energy was.  So I'd like to share with you an experience that proved to be a turning point.   During the course of my research, I came across a fascinating article. I no longer remember where I read it. But it was an account by a man who decided to do a little thought experiment .  For six weeks he decided to think only the most negative thoughts about his wife. He constantly thought about her in the most negative light. As the days passed, she became increasingly unhinged, until she was sure that he wanted a divorce.  Then he spent six weeks thinking only the most uplifting and wonderful things about his wife; how wonderful and pretty and sweet she was. And by the end o...

Grounding should be practiced at least three times a week.

Grounding is a simple exercise which should be practiced at least  three times a week. - Sit down or stand up, whatever is comfortable for you. - Close your  eyes or leave them open, and begin your breathing cycles.  - Once you  obtain a good rhythm, imagine roots leaving your feet and sinking deep  into the earth.  - With every inhalation, imagine green (positive)  energy coming up the roots from the earth into your dan tien.  - When  you exhale imagine red (negative) energy coming out of your mouth. Continue with this process until you feel you have gathered enough.  You will find that with practice your chi control will grow  impressively. What is stronger Qigong or Coffee for an instant “hit”?

I personally feel that practicing  Qigong poses  b elow works much better than coffee. Usually in the afternoon, I go to the bathroom at work, do one of the poses described below for 5 min and feel totally recharged . I feel it's absolutely necessary to start with the first method and practice it for at least 6 month (or better yet for a whole year) every day before proceeding to the next one. By Erle Montaigue     5th October 1999 When I began teaching  Qigong  back in the early 70's, I was probably one of the only Westerners to be teaching this wonderful healing art . Since then a plethora of different so-called  Qigong methods   have come mainly out of China claiming all kinds of miraculous healing benefits. However, many are no more than a simple exercise, which in itself will do anyone who is totally unfit and unhealthy a lot of good. So it is most cases not the new Qigong that is doing the trick but rather the simple fa...

If you seek healing, and not finding it

"If you seek healing, and not finding it, then  you are actually LOOKING for it, and not knowing that  it is already there.  Try this, close you eyes , and  just breath naturally , you know, without thinking  about it. Nothing is going to happen to you, just as  long as you feel happy . Do you feel it? Because it’s  there . A wisp of white in the corner of your eye , they  are always there if you're happy. Now close your eyes  again, because I am sure you’re opened them. Reach your  hand out , and grab at the wisp , and keep your eyes  closed, breathe in , and look up, with a refreshed  feeling. If none of this is making sense, then that’s fine,  sometimes words don’t. Now clear your head and think about  this.  You're in the middle of a wide plane with tall  grass bordered by a beautiful forest . The sky is blue  and there is a warm breeze. Inhale that warm...

My first visit with Malcolm Smith (Spiritual Healer)

My appointment was scheduled at noon at A.R.E. NYC.  My first impression of Malcolm was that he looked old and frail. I saw his pictures, but I just didn't realize how old he is. He took me into a small room and asked me to sit in a chair. He then asked what brought me to him. He explained that he doesn't heal, but GOD heals thru him . He said that he would touch parts of my body during the session and asked me if I was OK with it. He started by placing his hands on my shoulders and moved on from there to different parts (head, face, stomach and back). It was about half an hour. It was very relaxing. Sometimes his hand would tremble, but I think it was his advanced age and not energy. Overall it was an interesting and relaxing experience if nothing else. He told me that most people see improvements within 3 days. It’s been over a week and I didn't notice any changes . He also told me that results from the first session are temporary and ...

Energy Medicine for Seasonal Allergies

And so the time is here where Spring launches us into a state of newness and rebirth. It’s time to come out of hibernation and be open to the wonderful healing energies that Spring has to offer.  It’s a time to move forward with plans that you may have been thinking about over the winter and now have the energy to make them happen! Let’s not forget to bloom. Bloom those buried dreams that you thought were not possible, bloom those plans that make your heart sing and smile. Seasonal Allergies Allergies are triggered by airborne pollen generated by plants and trees as well as spores that come from mold. When they enter the nose, throat or eyes, inflammation of the mucous membranes located in the nasal passages occurs. The immune system is generally able to fight allergens, but for some individuals, the immune system responds by releasing various chemicals including histamines causing inflammation and overall discomfort. While there are many different types of allergies, seaso...
